Predictions by fans on the BBC website from the 3 promoted Premiership clubs.

    READING:

With more or less the same squad that romped the Championship this will be a testing season for the Royals.

Seol Ki-Hyeon and Sam Sodje are the only additions, while Steve Sidwell has refused a new contract, but providing they keep their fast attacking football going, survival is attainable.

    Player to watch: Bobby Convey
    Optimistic finish: 17th
    Realistic finish: 17th-20th
    Premiership winners: Chelsea

    -- Yep, thats fair enough.

    WATFORD

Hopefully we'll do better than our previous Premiership foray and in Aidy Boothroyd we've got a manager who may just help us avoid the drop.

He's made a couple of astute signings in Damien Francis and Danny Shittu, but I'm not getting carried away with any hype - most Watford fans know it's going to be a long season battling relegation - Marlon King's goals are the key to survival.

    Realistic finish: Bottom three
    Premiership winners: Liverpool

    ---- Again, fair enough.

    But then of course...

Boss Neil Warnock has brought in some OK players, but he hasn't managed to secure that 'killer' signing.

At least he has improved the defence with David Sommeil and Claude Davis because we were terrible at the back last year - with these guys we should just about be safe.

    Player to watch: Danny Webber
    Optimistic finish: 10th
    Realistic finish: 16th
    Premiership winners: Chelsea

Optimistic finish of 10th? How about "not a cat in hell's chance finish?" 16th is optimistic!
