ANYBODY BUT MURRAY, he was interviewed a few years ago and he had a t shirt on with A.B.E. on the front and I think the euros were up and coming and the sweaty said it stood for anybody but England, he said after he was joking

Jedi one has posted the A.B.M thread not me. I do not particularly like Murray, but do hope he brings home the bacon this year.

He may have won a masters and the Olympic gold, but to Britts there is no other trophy than Wimbledon, Henman was never going to win it....BUT

Murray is definitely capable. To that end I hope he does it .

 

well honestkly I wasm/am a bit that way.

But the lad is a Brit, I have seen a few interviews with him and an slowly warming a bit to him. I lived in Scotland for over 10 years and came across some real Bigots, however I met far far more truly wonderful Scots too. I now live in Wales, married a Welsh lass, I have come across some even worse bigots in Wales... and yet have again befriended some amazingly great people too. I served in the RAF for 30+ years.. spent a while in Germany.. I found that there are really true Nazi's still there (and that's not joking either) and also some really really kind friendly wonderful ones too. Bottom line is there is good and bad everywhere.

it was his comment about the England football team, just your typical jock footy supporter doesn't want England to win, which is fair enough we are after all the "auld enemy" but don't expect me to support you mr murray after all you're the "auld enemy" to me...................... I know where you are coming from. But can you remember severalyears or so ago? I am not sure if it was the Olympics or the commonwealth games... but it was Curling and the ladies team...they were all Jocks..and won the gold..it was on late at night, but I was riveted and was totally giving it large when they won
