    trying to plan my finances for the london trip on saturday, how much a pint down there? and can you get anything other than shandy??

    Fuller's London Pride always a favourite when I'm down there.

    I can't think of any nice pubs in the vicinity of Loftus Road but expect to pay &pound;2.70 a pint, give or take.</p>

    If you're staying down in London, I would recommend St Martin's Lane near Leicester Square for a pleasant night out. Lots and lots of pubs with a wide choice of beers and lagers. And scarcely more expensive than some pubs in Barnsley.

    The defectors Weld between Central line Shep Bush and White City (near Shep Bush Empire) is pretty cool. About 3 quid a pint for tap larger like Buvar etc, standard London price.
