My pal is driving down to London (M1) on Friday morning and wants to park somewhere on the outskirts and get the train/tube into Euston. Any recommendations for the best place to do this? Finchley Central looks promising, but dunno if the car park's likely to be full?

    Any advice appreciated.

Always park at Brent Shopping Complex and get the tube into the centre.

There's also a park and ride in Luton. Seems a way out but saves time if traffic is bad.</p>

Much obliged. Any idea how much the parking is? (will be c. 8 hours)

Cheers. Will probably go with Brent, tho, as he needs to come back into London later.

I always park at Stanmore station (just off J4 of the M1 and dead easy to find) and get the tube in from there. I admit I've never tried going on a Friday, but the car park is pretty big...

Or if possible park in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and jump on the nurses bus to the tube to save parking money.

Plus you get to see some nurses.

If they are anything like the nurses in Ponte General

I'd rather not bother... thanks. :S

Last time I was in Stanmore there were a few stunners.

Not that I look at women in uniforms or anything.
