London to Oakwell for next Tuesday?

    I'm in England next week. Planning to go to Oakwell on Tuesday for the Ipswich match (and the Crystal Palace match week on Saturday).

    I've been looking around National Rail and it seems the best way is to take a train from London to Doncaster and then take the coach over to Barnsley station.

    Any other suggestions?

    London - Sheffield, Sheffield to Barnsley would be best.

    www.thetrainline.com for fares and prices. You can usually get a cheap single fare.
