    OK lets just get to basics please Mr Flicker......I'm an absolute luddite when it comes to computers.....honestly (I don't even know how to close the spam) - my problem is compounded 'cos it's not my laptop!

    Usually you will see an 'x' somewhere to close it, sometimes they just need 20 seconds before you can close it. Once youve closed them and go full screen you wont get any more hassle. If you dont go full screen theyll pop up again every now and then.

    Its trial and error but dont install anything.

    Do what FlickerSack is suggesting - somewhere on the page will be a red x or a series of the red x's just close them and you should get access to pictures. Don't install anything and don't give you details away.
