JMV makes an excellent point on here about constraints

On the new manager. imho Adkins fits the bill.

But whatever, I'd make Supertyke pick the new manager thenhold himup to daily scrutiny of his decision.

Likely to be on some sort of 'list' if we have one

contract paid up for Davey, compo for Adkins, hmmmm, I think it'll be someone out of work or from within, given our lack of contacts and imagination, I reckon the new Academy coach will get a chance to step up. I'd be amazed if we actually approach someone already at another club.

One day reality will dawn on some BBS'ers

But until then, get Steve Coppell in.

We need a manager with knowledge of lower league players...

...that can make the step up, ala Peterbrough & Wolves. Forget the 'Championship quality/experience' B*ll*cks - we've never signed players like that and I doubt we ever will.

    Just pick the right manager

Sign the right players, win the league. Piece of piss. All other 91 clubs are more successful than us.

A manager has to fit with the clubs fan base

based on the BBS alone, only one man for the job: Graham Rix.
