Hardly what would be considered "ballooning" - can't imagine him doing rap songs about Slim-fast!

    You'd give anything?!

£15 a month for me got me well under it for the first time in years!

Well - I had to go to the gym regularly as well, I didn't just hand over £15 a month and the weight dropped off....that would be good!

    I dropped the gym

absolutely no motivation for me whatsoever !

So I bought a mountain bike and have dropped from 17 1/2 to 16 (just under this morning !). Excercise AND fresh air ! ! !

Xmas overeating has prevented me getting any lower, but 15 is my target for the end of February.

RE: Chuff me , how tall are you lads ?

    6' 1"

Was skinny as a rake until my late 20's. Still kept in reasonable shape with footie, cricket and squash, but that all stopped when we started a family. My advice to anyone would be not to let the arrival of a baby stop you from keeping yourself in good nick ! !

I'm guessing at my worst I was 18st, so I put on 6 stone in little over ten years. My aim this year is to get to around 14, with a combination of cycling and sensible eating.

    Good stuff!

I've found that having an onsite gym at work helps, theres no way I'd be motivated enough to go to the gym once I got home from work, being able to fit it into my day at work is great.
I've gone from 16st to 14st since last April.

    Nice one.

Our place discussed an onsite gym but it was deemed cost prohibitive. So they paired up with a local gym to offer a decent discount as an alternative. But seeing as that is in Derbyshire, and I live in West Yorks, it's a bit of ano-no.

I work away a lot though and tend to use the gym in the hotel. Trouble is, I tend to use the hotel bars a lot too.
