Looking back through 2008

    ..footballwise that is, I don't think we can complain too much. Even I (as a glass 1/2 empty type) feel we have made progress. It's just frustrating that once again we seem a couple of players short of being a decent side. A decent left sided midfielder (wish we could have Wallace) and a striker are desperately required in January. A bit more invention in the centre of midfield wouldn't go amiss either. After Cureton's goals in the last 2 games let's push for a season long loan, finishes like those are pure quality.
    Anyone heard any transfer rumours ahead of the window. Nobody in our part of the ground seemed to have any today, for a change.
    Thanks BFC for a memorable 2008 and here's hoping we can push on to mid table security come May. Oh and win a couple of games in Sheffield during February along the way!
    I'm getting greedy now.....
