    I tried a new shop in Glasgow, but it was a family one so doubt they got any down there. Sorry.

    DONT GET ANYTHING FROM MAPLIN

    its *****, worked in the warehouse, packed those 320gig HDD... Seagate i believe?

    well, they get battered by the order pickers, so chances are you'll get a nice battered one (Y)

    I've never had a problem with them

    Also had no problem returning stuff - not faulty just changed my mind after I got something home - took it back and swapped for higer spec model with no problems at all

    Never had a problem with Maplins

    And some of the staff in the store at Barnsley are excellent, opening stuff up to see its what you need etc.

    They tend to be a bit expensive sometime, but the pre-sales support is excellent in my experience. Also had no trouble when I did return something.
