Hi everyone, I've only just discovered this site, but will be back on a daily basis now. I am however looking for a little help. I'm hoping to write a book about our time in the Premiership, a fully-blown nostalgic affair for fans and newcomers alike. So, my question is, does anyone have any information on what players from that squad are up to now, and how I might contact them? I've got hold of John Hendrie, can get in touch with Jan Fjortoft on Twitter, and have asked Leeds for permission to talk to Neil Redfearn, but can anyone help out after that? Does the club have a former players association? I've tried to contact them, but haven't received much help yet. Any replies on here are much appreciated, or if you want to get me by email, let me know and I'll pass it on to you. Thanks for any help at all. Dan
Dave Watson is at Birmingham City on the coaching staff. Georgi Hristov is working at a local model agency in Lundwood promoting Barnsley women. If l know anymore l'll let you know.
Some Requirements for posting on this site Tin hat Sand bags Extra thick skin It would also help (with a certain poster)if you have some knowledge of, or connections with. a certain part of West Yorkshire. I will be speaking to Scott Jones tonight if there is anything (within reason) you might like me to ask. Or I could ask his permission to pass his e-mail address to you.
Re: Some Requirements for posting on this site Ha, look forward to it. If you could ask him to pass on an email address that would be superb. As I said, the nature of the book is coming from a Barnsley fan's perspective, so there's going to be nothing malicious or anything, just a good old look back at our time in the spotlight.
Re: Some Requirements for posting on this site A quick google of some of the players brings up their whereabouts, Bullock is playing in NZ or was last year, he will be in his early 20's now.

I'm putting together a database of past players from our contacts from the supporters trust and the legends game we put together for the 10th anniversary. Maybe worth having a chat?
Arjan de Zeeuw is a forensic investigator (or something along those lines) doing CSI-type stuff for the Dutch police. Saw an article about him in Four Four Two magazine a few months ago. Oh, and he's a part-time pundit swearing live on British telly, I hear.
