So Vaz Te has gone, big deal. We had no option but to cash in, and he was as bad in half the games as he was good in the others. Of course, in an ideal world, you'd want him to stay. But we are Barnsley, and a lot of folk must forget that at times. We always do this. So why moan? Surely, we're used to it after 125 years? I would have been more upset if Steele, Davies or McNulty left, but thats just me. I expect no further outs, and with the players at our disposal, managed by Hillcroft, I see us staying up comfortably, and moving onto phase two in the summer. And so to tonight. Derby, just ahead of us, a form team, and with the added bonus of a returning hero... the Vaz Te of last summer. Ambition? Greed? Who cares.. he plays for somebody else so **** him. He'll get mugged off by Big Craig and Daggers tonight - I hope! Going to be a cold one though, so lets get behind the lads and management, and see what apertains. YOU REDS
Let's all deal with it by pretending that we only had him on a 6 month loan deal and that he has returned to his parent club. Onwards & upwards!
