It should be far more pleasing on the eye and, hopefully , we'll have a bit more width to our attack with JCR coming back into the side and Martin Devaney moving out left. With Foster's suspension, it'll be interesting to see who Simon Davey starts with in both full back positions, assuming everyone's available for selection (Hassell, Van Homoet, Werling & Kozluk). Also, did Togwell, McCann & Van Homoet (for example) do enough to warrant selection, or will other changes be pondered? I'm looking forward to the game and finishing the year in a far healthier state than we started it.
I thought he offered nothing to the side In my opinion, Werling & Ricketts would have at least offered greater width to our attack, whilst Johnson would've added more bite to the midfield.
I'll reserve my judgement on him Until he's played a few games in his own position. Heckingbottom was hardly Championship standard at Left Back, God only knows what standard he'd reach out of position at Right Back.
Exactly. Played 3 games at LB, when he is clearly a RB. Completely one footed. I thought he did well against the Blunts, but struggled a bit yesterday, as he clearly favours coming inside onto his right.
Why single out yesterday Never seen McCann have a good game for us. Admittedly, I missed the away day at Southampton earlier this year.
I didn't reckon much to him yesterday He gave the ball away just about every time he touched it. However, he is a right sided player, so I'll reserve judgement on him until I see him in his natural position.
RE: McCann was awful yesterday. Ive got a sneaking suspicion that he could be a really good player for us, but that he just can't play in the same side as Howard because they are too similar in style
