Looks bad

Discussion in 'Bulletin Board ARCHIVE' started by BarnsleyBomber, Aug 15, 2009.

  1. No creativity or Flair, set pieces and balls in were awful, Hammill the so called saviour of the club had a poor day, Anderson was nowhere, strikers got no service, defenders looking nervous and backed off all the time. Dont look good for the first home game a team without a spine and no backbone

You two need to calm down.

If we'd won three nil would you be talking about us winning the league?

Fair enough I have my doubts about Davey's ablity with tactics and that, but the players we have are good - I don't doubt that we have quality in the squad.

    Sorry, but

Foster, Hassell, JCR, Colace, Anderson, Hammill, Bogdanovic, Hume are quality players. Last season I was convinced that we were punching below our weight - and fair enough because of Simon Davey - but ironically he did bring most of those players in.

Simon Davey - I'd keep him as a head scout and deal maker, but I'd let 'Half time draw, Parnd a go' bloke pick the side.
