There aint that many people on here that can stand back and have a reasoned look at the situation.

Everybody seems to be having a dig at Keeeflicker after yesterdays game.
Well nothing has changed before or after the game.........Keeeflicker will still be building for next season this week like they were last week. Thats why they are throwing the kids on to see what happens.
And from yesterdays performance we have another very good prospect ..........ROSE
Stone didn't seem to do that badly either on a day when we played the best team in the division.

So lets not be too down hearted about things. We are still 12 points clear and there is only 9 matches to play
I cant see the bottom 3 clubs winning 5 of their last 9 games.

So remember - stop jumping on the negative bandwagon and think back to all the positives thats happened this season.

A Keeflicker poll was carried out only a couple of weeks ago......

..........I think there were only a few that voted against them

So whats changed ?.............ok, we have had a terrible result against the best team in the division........but the biggest change on here in my opinion is that the negative bandwagon has built up some steam and there aint that many bright enough to stand out of the way of it.

We are TOSS...........yes, but you need to look at the facts

During December we had a team that given a couple of more signings would have got into the top 10 maybe top 6 of the division.
For no fault of Keeeeflicker, that team got ripped apart with injuries and players being sold.
Keeeflicker was left with half a team in mid-season and is now trying to re-build.
We are now 12 points clear of relegation so obviously the management team are trying out some youngsters.
AND EVERYONE OF THOSE YOUNGSTERS LOOKS GREAT

Another 6 points and we will be more than safe. We might even be safe with the points we have already got.

Re: A Keeflicker poll was carried out only a couple of weeks ago......

Young Nudger is right, we need to not be negative. Those of us with season tickets got our money's worth in the first half of the season.
We were good, so the bigger boys have nicked our players, or injured them.

We need to trust Hill to sort it out, his record says he probably will.

The first half yesterday was good, the second half was shocking.

We have an air of pre-season at the moment trying out lots of players, changing the team and system every game, but what is criminal at the moment is we are still in the season and going away from the things we were doing in the first half of the season.
We saw what worked, and we are not bringing in players that do the job those we have lost did. I don't care where they come from, because you play in League 1 or 2 does not mean that is the highest level you operate at.
Who is the new Vaz Te, who is the new Butterfield, who is the new Drinkwater?
We were lucky to have them 3 and they are hard to find, so maybe to rephrase, which ones are being told to do the job they did, to return to an earlier point of mine we have gone away from what worked.

Didn't hear much booing at half time, in fact it was a round of applause.
Both teams could have scored in the first half.
    WTF you watching

I don't have my head in the sand.

Keith Hill was by far the best candidate in the pool we went fishing for a new manager in.

I am realistic, we are Barnsley not Barcelona, we are not going to get anywhere changing manager every 5 mins, we do not have the cash for that to work.

We need to build a club, like Barcelona have, it does not happen overnight.

I think Keith Hill has more than earned the right to have a lot more time to build up this club.

I am concerned that we have gone against the principles we had that served us well

The only principle I'm aware of is that we sell any player that anyone makes a reasonable bid for. Been like that since the day the club was founded. But don't worry - we are going to balance the books this time.

Quick Passing, movement, running at players, committing defenders, shooting, keeping the ball, energy

We have only sold Vaz Te, who's contract was up in 6 months, and hopefully use that cash wisely to find a longer term replacement.

Not seen much of that lately. Since Butterfield was injured to be precise. I'm told the first half against Derby was good but I missed it.

Not everybody Nudger. I was disappointed with the second half yesterday and we've been poor for a few weeks now but Hill is working under very difficult conditions and I still think he is the right man for the job. Overall it's been a decent season and I think Hill will sort some of the problems out in the summer. The budget he will have is crap but short of some investment which looks unlikely only returning fans can help that.
