A setback came in the 15th minute, when Sergio Mendoza bodychecked Tomasz Radzinski as the Canadian striker was racing to the far post for a ball. Radzinski crashed into the advertising boards, badly cutting the small finger on his right hand. He left the game and Canada played with 10 men for seven minutes until Ian Hume went in as a replacement. The ineffective Hume was substituted in the 84th minute for Jim Brennan. </p>

Hopefully they won't play him in their game in Mexico now. He can come back to us fresh and raring to go.

So long as he doesn't get injured

    That's the main thing.
