If we had played Blackburn a month ago they wouldn't have brought that many. But now their form has picked up including a win to nill at Newcastle they should bring a decent enough following by their standards. Should crack 1,500 surely.
They beat newcastle 5 games ago they have just lost 3 on bounce their form is bad. As for selling that end out I remember beating them 5-1 in 1999/2000 they were a biggish team then won the prem with jack walkers cash 5 years previous and just been relegated from the prem, don't think they brought more than 2k then never been a really well supported team exept when in the premiership. Suprise they have sold over 1k for today.
Do you reckon we'd get anywhere near selling their away end out in the same situation? It'll be commendable if they manage 4 figures.
That's mental, you simply cannot bash them for not selling out because... well you just can't, if they did it'd be insane. 1500 would be a good following in my eyes. edit: just had a look and we took 1409 to Preston on Boxing Day in 2014. As I said 1500 would be a good following.
I'm really glad we're not Blackburn, Wigan or Bournemouth just to name a few. All have chucked money at being somewhere that's not really befitting a club their size, and it almost always ends in tears. Blackburn once won the premier league, and now playing in front of 10k at Ewood. Their fans not happy with manager or owners. Despite all this their fans still probably see us as a team they should be beating, which is typical of how a bit of shop bought success makes some fans delusional. Hope the lads rip into them today and show them were further up the league on merit. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
