I think the damage has already been done. A lot of people ready to jump ship now. PS4 for me, no doubt.
if i get one it'll be PS4 but it wouldn't matter what Xbox did anyway. Still think my PS360Gb's good Googs. Not sure if it's going to be like this with all games but Fifa 14 ps4 is been advertised at £54 plus. That's mad although some could say expected. ps1 games, 20 quid. Ps2 30quid ps3 40 quid...
Some of the later Mega Drive games were a good £50-55. And new Playstation games definitely weren't £20.
I'm a bit too young for Mega Drive to be honest. PS1 was my first console and maybe I'm wrong on the prices then, it was just a quick guess.
I'm with you mate, nowt wrong with my PS3, although I would still like a PS4 as soon as I see a good bundle deal. The games prices however won't stay that high for long. Both Sony and Microsoft have confirmed that the RRP will remain the same for games as the current gen. After Christmas we shall be seeing sites selling certain games around £40, or maybe even less. It appears I am wrong about the damage already having been done by MS though as XB-one pre-orders have taken over PS4 again @ Amazon UK.
They're always cheap at supermarkets or online. I don't think I've ever paid more than £35 for a game.
