Ian will be chuffed. The Arabs have been declared Champions and will play in the
Premiership when football resumes in Scotland.

I thought UEFA didn't want seasons abandoned? Sounds as though there is a bit of funny business goimg on with Dundee originally going to vote no to ending the season early but after 4 days voting yes. Tbh only Hearts would vote no and Rangers to try and stop Celtic getting 9 in a row.

Think Hearts might do better though for going down , getting rid of all the the negativety around the club and getting some positivity back through winning an easy championship. A lot of their players are near the end of their contracts I think.

Celtic should still be champions if the season ends or not 13 points clear no chance rangers would have caught them.

That's not the point though, the point is they are still matematically catchable.

All lower leagues decided but premier league still undecided. I think they are waiting for direction from UEFA on how to proceed regarding naming champions and UEFA cup positions.
Looking like moves to extend the premier by not having relegation could be voted on this saving hearts

They have lost 2 games all season they would have to lose 4 to give rangers a chance. I can see there is mathematical a chance but realistically they is no chance imo celtic should be champions is the season ends early.

I disagee. The season isn't over so if it isn't finished should be null and void. 4 games is nothing, look at how Leeds folded last season.

I agree with you red rum but it looks like no one wants to be the one to make that decision knowing the back lash which might follow.
Are Liverpool to be made champions or is your FA waiting on a directive from UEFA?

That will be so difficult but with all the money at stake I see why. But if they were to restart players will have lost fitness and if after June lots will be out of contract.
It’s a mess. I only hope that however it ends somehow Barnsley can avoid the drop.

We’re one of the few clubs with hardly any first team players out of contract in June so finishing the season after then might actually benefit us.

It shouldn't be null and void I hate leeds and liverpool but if it was us in leeds place I'd be absolutely fuming if the null and voided the season with only 9 games left. If the season gets cancelled leeds and west brom should be promoted and liverpool and celtic champions imo.

I agree I'd be annoyed if it happened in our promotion season BUT it is also not fair on those in the playoff positions. The season hasnt finished therefore it has to be null and void or extended.

Let’s be honest here sporting integrity will not come into the final decision. Money will dictate as to how the season ends. Be prepared for a very messy ending but Liverpool, Man C and the other big clubs will not lose out so everything will be fine.

The country will start to come out of lockdown next month but I just don’t see how we can relent on social distancing until a vaccine has been developed. The vast majority of the population hasn't had the virus, there’s every chance of further waves of infection and deaths if we just go back to normal, void the season.

But null and void isnt fair for the teams who are top 2, if the play off teams had done better in the previous 36 games they wouldnt be in the play offs. It's easy for us sat bottom to say null and void the season and we will go again next season.

For me they either have to finish the season, or the top two and top teams promoted and champions and no relegations like they was talk of a while back.

Doesn't sit right with me. You either finish the season or void the season.

If we are saying top 2 promoted by the same token it should be bottom 2 demoted. My point is the season hasnt finished, no one is safe, no one has won a title, no one has been relegated mathematically. For me, I'd add points onto the next season as the fairest way.

I can see your point dont get me wrong, I just think the best option is to carry on playing when safe to resume the season is 80% finished celtic dont have to win many games to claim the spl and liverpool have to win one to win the title is it? For those reasons alone null and void shouldn't be done.
