    After listening to Hecky ......... how many players do we need now then ???
    I'll start - we need at least 3 fast wingers and 3 fast strikers.
    And if you went to Rovrum - it was obvious.

    Plus of course there's other positions to look at because on that showing Jackson, Bradshaw, Hammill, Mowatt,
    Mallan are not up to the task.

    On the plus side - we have a player that cannot now be left out of the side - Joe Wiilams.

    I went. It wasn't obvious to me that we needed three most wingers and three more fast strikers as we played the traditional formation that only had two wingers and two strikers

    Well let me try to explain it.
    Our only winger went off injured - his replacement was a defensive midfielder because we haven't any others.
    Hammill is an impact player - ok to be brought off the bench when required.
    That meant of course we had no outlet on either wing for a large part of the match.

    Now for the strikers.
    We didn't have anyone who is fast to give Ugbo a rest.
    We don't have any tall forwards that can hold the ball up - that's one plus a replacement if required.

    As Hecky was saying - we need a lot of players

    It was a meaningless friendly. I can think of seasons when the pre season was a disaster and we were fine when the proper games started. I can also remember seasons when we were great in the Friendlies and then in a relegation scrap all season.

    I have no idea how we will do when the season starts for real we might be rubbish we might be fine the one think I am not doing is throwing my teddy out of the cot because we lost a friendly
