Out-of-favour striker Dean Windass has hinted his future could be away from Hull City.

The veteran hit-man has made just two Premier League appearances this season after scoring the goal in last year's play-off final that secured their top-flight status.

Windass emerged off the bench in last Wednesday's 3-0 home defeat by Chelsea and was disappointed with manager Phil Brown that he was then axed for their weekend trip to Manchester United.

The 39-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Leeds and more recently Doncaster Rovers and Oldham Athletic, has now hinted he might need to depart The KC in order to secure regular football.

    Pretty low
"I'm feeling pretty low, like I've been kicked in the teeth," he said. "I finally got on against Chelsea last Wednesday and it felt great.

"But then on Saturday as Old Trafford I was dropped without any explanation from the manager.

"If I do leave it has to be for the right reasons and to the right club."
