was the message on here last week http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-derbyshire-22745064 Too many middle aged men having mid life crisis
"an investigation into the cause of the accident is under way." - These middle aged men having a mid life crisis have just lost their life in an accident which may not have been their fault. Have some respect and decency for once.
Not sure how you can link that Too many middle aged men having mid life crisis This sadly is the end result Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
So mrx if the accident and subsequent loss of life was caused by a car pulling out of a junction you will no doubt suggest that the driver faces the full force of the law?
Had a week off work this week and a few time watched Air Ambulance on daytime TV. No matter what age you are, riding a motorbike is a dangerous past time. Was one couple on separate bikes, got caught in a cross wind and women ended up loosing her foot having been blown into central barrier. Ive been out on mountain bike today and for first time rode with a helmet. Programme showed a few push bike accidents with one women ending up with brain damage from a minor accident. And she had a helmet on. When you were kids you could bounce back from the falls, but 40+ and significantly heavier, bones etc. break far too easily.
How do u know they havent been riding all their lives? U dont!! Ive bn out riding round chesterfield area today. I am back safe and sound unlike those unlucky peeps. Shudder to think of been in an accident like any of those.
OK, I'm not the biggest fan of motorbikes and some motorcyclists act irresponsibly BUT you are coming to a conclusion from very little, make that NO, evidence. All the article says is that 3 people died following a crash involving 2 motorcycles. I also didn't realise there was an age limit for riding a motorcycle and I'd also wager that middle aged riders are safer than younger ones - but that's just an opinion.
There was an accident involving a car and a motorcyclist (49) outside my work a few weeks ago. The 80 year old driver pulled across the main road and the motorcyclist died in front of me. He didn't stand a chance, and wasn't speeding (my next door neighbour is a traffic cop and attended the scene). Only a couple of weeks ago a 15 year old lad from our village was riding along a scramble path and pulled out onto the main road in front of a car. His parents switched off his life support machine the next day. You can only feel sorry for the people who have lost their lives, and the other people involved.
