Lot been said about them on top in first half

Well unless i'm wrong they only had the last 10 - 15 mins. In fact i reckon we were in their half more than they were in ours before that. So come on give us some credit, even if it was uneventful.

 

Yes, but doesn't it frustrate you that we came out in the second half and played that well, when it the first half, all we were content to do was lump it long and try and go in at 0-0. The first half performance tonight was akin to the second half performance against Wednesday last week.

 

Yup, they were only on top for the last 15 minutes. Problem is, for the first half hour nothing happened. A stat popped up on the screen with about 25 minutes gone: "Attempts - Ipswich 0, Barnsley 0. That's not shots on target, that's any attempt at all by either side. We kept the ball, but did nothing of any use to anyone. We may not have been under the cosh, but we were rubbish.

Completely different second half, we were great, but the first half was awful.
