you watched it all the way through liz????
some of the stuff the stones did in the sixties was absolutely superb

Depends if you think that. Rolling Stones' is 'proper music' Grew up in the sixties, nivver liked 'em.
What was the attraction?
They were all ugly. and never really produced a tune you could sing al ong to lol
I liked 'Jumping Jack Flas'h, but growing up in the 60s as I did, you either loved 'em or hated 'em.
I went the Hippy way - Mamas and Papas, CSNY, Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead, Simon and Garfunkel etc etc
And many more, too long to list................
That's my era.
That's where I feel I belong.

talkin of sixties icons you can't beat a bit of jimi

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xg8us_jimi-hendrix-voodoo-child

You really are in a grumpy mood this evening Tina! And we didn't even have a game! Besides - he said "lovers of the Rolling Stones and proper music" - which doesn't seem to include the Rolling Stones as proper music in that description, rather, if you like the Stones or, alternatively, you like "proper music"!
Yes, Mebbeee, I am Grumpy! I really , reallyl tried to like the Stones but couldn't
My music was the West Coasr 0f America.
The biggest thing for me was seeing Crosby Stills and Nash at BIRMINGHAM in the 80s i I though that I had died and then gone to heaven!
CSNY THEY WERE AND STILL ARE MY ULTIMNATE HEROES.

However, Neil Young wasn't there andI guess I will never get to see him live. To see Stephen Stills sing the lyrics and do his Accoustic guitar solo for 'Love the one you're with' will' live with me for ever

THE mAMAS AND paps, Beach Boys etc. and Don't forget
They are my sounds and My groups
Laugh all you like
