Right who as the most loyal fans. Alot say Leeds - Wednesday Etc but look at the stats. Leeds got 40k most weeks in the premiership - now they get about 20k - So since dropping down the divisions they have lost 20k fans - Same goes to Wednesday - 40k premiership - now struggle to get over 20k for some games. Barnsley got 18k in premiership and now struggle to get 10k - So we have lost only 9k The only team i can think of who have dropped down the leagues but attendances remained the same are Manchester City . Even Newcastle only got 30k in champioship so they lost 20K fans from dropping down a division. Let me know your thoughts
You are working on wrong basis. Leeds and Wendy's 20k divided by 40k is50percent loss Barnsley 9k divided by 18 k is 50 percent. So we are same, but they lost more fans in total 20 k to us 9k. Hence their losses were more. Next year if we do not get some wins in next eleven matches, it will be 4k divided by 9k which will be over 50 per cent.
Derby, they've only lost a few thousand since their days in the premier league. Averaging about 20k these days, most days they got around 26k in the premier league.
I could not help wincing a bit at the chants on Saturday .."where were you when you were ****".... If ever a chant was inappropriate then it would have to be at Manchester City. Of course you have to be old enough to know that!!
