Sure this has been mentioned before on here but, why not go for him for the Owls.

Does not get a game as they have too many strikers, from what I hear they are close to FFP restrictions so could do with offloading. He is a good age, tall presence up top and has a bit of pace not to mention experience at this level.

Also looking sharp if this is anything to go by from last night

Not sure why we go for a player who is about no. 8 in Sheffield Wednesday's striker pecking order.

Only that low on pecking order cos they spent mega bucks on other options so they have to pick them ahead of him

I'd rather go for this lad than mess about like we have for Mcburnie. Complete nonsense that.

I was looking forward to getting McBurnie when the rumours first came about, but its dragged on too long now, we need to move to another target and ideally a permanent one

Genuine question for you guys, would you rather get McBurnie on loan or someone with less of a reputation on a permanent deal?

I'd rather get the best possible players possible. If that's on loan for a season then so be it.

Weren't we given to understand that the Mc Burnie deal had been done three months ago.? ( source- Hecky in the
Chronicle). He was sub last Saturday against Man Utd, so it's unlikely that he will be allowed out until they get the
experienced cover they need. In the intervening period after no doubt reading things on social media sites like Twitter etc Leeds United have now picked up on his availability and due to the fact he was born there, who knows he might be swayed to join them instead. The word on the street is that the proposed takeover could be completed within the next three weeks.
Question is , are any permanent transfers going to be approved between now and the close of the window.?
Like some others have said, it's more likely that any incomings will in all probability now be four month or season long loans.

Yeah I know the McBurnie deal is all sorted but surely we are impacting our own strength in sitting around waiting until Swansea allow him to come to us. With how long its dragged on the pressure is on for him to come in and hit the ground running. I would prefer going for another target if we could as we need to get our squad sorted so Hecky can get working with them on training ground sorting out tactics etc. We can't do that if McBurnie is still sat on the bench in Wales
