Any lawyers on here? Look at this

    http://www.chelseablog.com/2006/09/...t-to-buy-out-the-last-year-of-their-contract/

If he were to buy himself out of his contract, he would then be unattached and free to join another club outside the transfer window. There are several legal precedents for this as the article shows. Looks highly complex though.

If we get through and get WBA we are gonna have to go round with a hat.

    Not True

He cannot play if he is under contract at WBA - that is true.

But if he is not under contract to them he can play against them like any other player can. The only thing is how does he get out of his contract. The EU law seems to imply that it is possible but I am waiting for my legal team to get back to me :D :D

What? How come no red wine?

Still not heard from my legal team, but I suspect there may be a grain of truth in your assertion

If we get through to the final

I'd be more than happy to have Gary Sprake in the nets, and he's probably dead by now

He couldn't play in a cardiff v Pompy Final though

    Actually

Only been once this week that was on Sunday night with Kev.

Been feeling guilty about it though I've heard they are considering going into adminstration as a result. Anyway I have put together a rescue package which will be implemented in about 20 mins.

Let's not worry about Luke Steele and the final

It scares me to even be talking about the final, I don't even want to dream about it, we've got a game to try and win before I can do any of that.

It would be very sad for the lad if he missed out on things if we were lucky enough to have that dilema, however ...

FA cup final, I reckon we could ring any of the big clubs and take the best keeper in the country who isn't cup tied and offer him a place. We could pretty much take our pick of keepers to get in on loan for a game like that, season is over and all you have to do is tell the press who you'd like and they'd be hammering on the managers door demanding to go to Barnsley on loan for one game.

Are their any rules agaisnt us going to foriegn clubs? If not, lets go big, Buffon isn't cup tied.

Won't the loan window be closed though?

Would we be allowed to bring anybody in on loan though? After 31 March?
