Wasn't at the match today, so will have to wait and see what the supporters who traveled down think.

    wouldnt say he surpassed it

But he played well 2 great penalty saves and a couple of other class saves as well

Didnt have quite as many saves to make as against Liverpool in my opinion but he definitely had a good game and was comforably our best player

He's a quality keeper. I don't understand some of the abuse he gets from some fans.

He was superb today! He wasn't exactly pulling off saves left, right & centre but what he had to deal with, he dealt with well. The penalty saves were both fantastic and all the players made a beeline for him at the end. Man of the match today.

Agreed. He is prone to the odd error but name me a keeper who isn't.

Thing is, if keepers make mistakes the punishment is usually a goal, if defenders, midfielders, or forwards make a mistake it's usually less costly.

I think Steele is bailing out certain aspects/faults of our outfield players/System, he's been up for MOTM because Boro and reading were being allowed have shots on goal, we need to stop that and start having a Midfielder or Forward getting MOTM, it then means we are doing more going forward and Steele has less to do. I'm pretty sure that we'll get there it's a big change for all the players but I'm sure they and just as important we will adapt to football with Keith Hill.

well done lads, keep it up
