LUKE STEELE has joined Barnsley from West Brom after agreeing to a wage-cut of £156,000 a season.
The goalkeeper joined the Tykes on loan last season and helped them reach the FA Cup semi-finals. Steele has agreed a wage-drop from &pound;8,000-a-week to &pound;5,000.</p>

    Also, BRIAN HOWARD

BARNSLEY'S FA Cup hero Brian Howard has told Everton he is ready to join them.
Toffees boss David Moyes has been tracking the midfielder ever since his dynamic skills helped the Tykes knock both Liverpool and Chelsea out of the FA Cup.
And the Barnsley skipper 27 (Wrong age aint it?) said: &quot; We will have to see what happens&quot;.

Bri's going to have a busy season splitting himself in three to play for QPR, Sheffield Utd and Everton!

Hope he learns not to give the ball away easily. I like the guy, looks as though he has great potential but seems rather lightweight and a tendency for unforced errors

Diego Leon neds to be 5 yards faster

he was beaten for pace on numerous occasions. Was decent in his agility but for pure running he was lost. Maybe he will improve but its all about your legs and his are 'short'

    Over what distance?

A mile? 10 yards? 5 yards faster in the head like Teddy Sheringham?
