Altho Steele is an excellent keeper, Muller is way better. Just look how good Muller was in his first season. he saved us so many points.
Steele as got better for his time on the bench his kicking as got better and he's got more control of his box then he had before well done simon davey and his coaching staff they have improved the lad quite a bit in his time at the club
Definitely the better keeper now. Muller was the better keeper before his injury, but not much better. Steele is quality. Some good business done in the keeper department this summer.
I don't think theres much between them, about on par to me, just depends on form, which every player has dips and highs with.
He's become an excellent keeper but I think Muller in his first season was better than Steele. However if Steele carries on the way he is doing he'll be as good, if not better than muller. I think Davey made the right choice in letting Muller go, and Steele is more than capable of consistenly playing out of his skin.
Muller on his day is the better keeper, shame he got crocked and we never got to see that same old Heinz again. with that said, i think Steele is brilliant too. just remember that debut at Anfield... wow.
Muller was top drawer until he played for 50+ mins with a torn knee ligament cos davey did not think 5 subs was enough to include a back up .
Don't forget that Steele is only 24 years old, so he could and should get much much better as he gets older and more experienced.</p> And he's almost as good now, at 24, as Muller at his peak. </p>
personally always liked Muller but I think Steele is a better bet because I think he wil be happy here where as to Muller (before the injury)we were only intended to be a short term stepping stone to bigger things
