Just another jobbing Champ Goalie no better, no worse, than most. Has good games, has shockers, consistently cannot kick a ball, too small to make it at a higher level. If he left ........meh.

But he is a Championship standard keeper, and will probably get better as he matures. His replacements show how valuable he is, Button was poor in comparison.

Button wasn't great either in the final analysis, I agreed, not sure they'll be queues beating down our door for Steele though. There's less and less money floating around the Championship, I'd be amazed if he gets snapped up, or if we can't find an adequate replacement if he does.

I thought the BBS rule was to wait until the player leaves before saying he was gash?
Tbh though Wakey, it seems your opinion is shared by The Don and co

Never said he was gash, just not the second coming that some seem to think

I actually agree with Wakeyred, he's a good 'keeper at this level - come on leaps and bounds since joining us. But he's not indispensable atleast not yet anyway. On his day no doubt one of the best goalkeepers in this division but inorder for him to reach the status some claim he has on here, he needs to find that consistency and please to god work on that god awful distribution of his and his unwillingness to let the ball go early for a swift counter-attack.
