Now how much would a like for like replacement cost.

    Appalling treatment of Luke.

Too old??????? Keepers come into there prime at his age.

Can't get my head round the thinking.

Calamity Alnwick better not be 1st choice.

You know it, I know it.... the whole of Barnsley knows it, apart from two people and they are not even from Barnsley. Which probably explains why they don't know it.

I think it is now time to move on from this Luke Steele business. If the player does not want to sign the contract offered to him and chooses to hold BFC to ransom to improve his T&C then I support the management for holding out. Let Luke go out into the bad world of football in search of a pay day contract. I think last season his kicking was poor and the guy is tied to his line during crosses and corners. Get behind our new No 1 goalie in Alnwick.

Alnwick proved he's not up to it. Brighton, Wolves, Ipswich and a few more games when he cost us.

And why not talk about football matters and Luke Steele?

Who's that then and why doesn't it matter if Barnsley fans aren't from Barnsley.

How many of the squad are from Barnsley???

Do you want to add anymore match he might not have played in.
you don't even know which keeper played for barnsley and are attaching him to games he DIDN'T play.

So are you saying there isn't an issue with some Barnsley fans who aren't from Barnsley?

Maybe it could be tomorrows game. Blaming players they didn't play in.

    Yeah why not.

Would make a change from blaming players who dared to blank you.

Anlwick played against Brighton away, wolves away and Ipswich at home. Which game was it when the crowd lost patience? Peterborough? And I'm sure there would be other games if I looked?

Steele wasn't fit at that point and his first game wad a game away at Hull I went to on boxing day.

Could correct me if I'm wrong but from memory I'm sure I'm right.

No he didn't, David González did.

I'm fully well aware of Steele not been fit and Ben didn't play in them games because Ben had a three match ban I believe. Rochdale away, late pen... Red Card????????

It means we where awful in goal up to that point. Then suddenly we had a match winner in goal.

I'll accept I was wrong with some of those games. But Alnwick is dodgy, he's been dodgy for Sunderland and for us in big moments of games, and his head butt was shocking.

Forest at home, that's the other when the crowd turned on him.

Luke's barely held us to ransom, from what I can gather his weekly wage has been reduced by a large amount & that's not even his main issue. The main issue is that he wants a longer contract than the 1 year on offer
