Has just asked (via twitter) to read the piece I wrote about him for WSB. I know I'm a bit (ahem) of a narcissist but I'm not posting this to big myself up. But to big him up instead. And WSB. Think Liam will be getting an interview with him at some point too. Which would make very interesting reading if he's as honest as Bobby was with me recently. But I just wanted to thank the WSB lads for giving me an opportunity to write about things I love. Feeling good being a reds fan again. It's been a while. Night, lads/lasses.
Whenever issue six is released. You'll have to ask Dyson or Cunning Stunt, mate. But it's done. It's very very lengthy though and if (as I expect) WSB cut it to ribbons, edit it etc, it's okay as I'll put the whole transcript up on the blog a week or so later.
Nowt to big up. He wanted to see the article. You sent it. He even appreciated what you had said. The fact he took time out to talk shows the character of the lad. Much like martin is now interacting with toast lol. Going off at a tangent. I am glad to see that we seem to be building a squad that seems to want to interact and not just collect money. I am starting to sense a togetherness between everyone. The test will come when we hit a patch. But I can't help but feel we are starting to get somewhere at last. I'm not a brown noser far from it. But tou have to heap some on BM as well as things for once all point in the same direction. Of course we will lose heavily in our next home game and they will be ****ers now. But I'm as positive now as I have been in years. Relegation looks to have actually stopped the rot. You reeeeds
Ben's emailed me back twice this week. Didn't even have to the second time. I was mainly rambling at him. Think he's up for popping into Redfearn's before the MK Franchise game. I've really warmed to him. He's interacting. Even if I don't agree with him or his decisions, you've to credit him for putting himself forward and out there like he's doing. I've a feeling we've got a few 'new' Steele's and Bobby's at the club right now. They might not even be the lads you expect. But there's a vibe there. Amazing what a united and positive fanbase/club can achieve. It felt at times the last few years that the club saw interaction and unity with us as the last thing on their agenda. Feels good.
