Interesting read that. Glad he's enjoying it over there and has played a few games.

Good read that.....have to give Luke the credit he deserved at BFC and also for pushing himself to other opportunities.
Too often have we seen lazy-contract-greedy players at BFC.......Luke has made a move that he thinks betters his career and I hope it works out.

‘My advice is go to the Acropolis but go once. That’s enough. It’s one of the oldest buildings in the world and I did love each of the 45 minutes I was there, but I’m not going to be getting a degree in Greek history.'

Good luck Luke, great servant and representative of our club

Best one was West Brom player John Trewick. They went on tour to China in the 70s. So they're at the Great Wall of China and a tv crew asks him what he thinks of it, to which he replies, 'Well, when you've seen one wall you've seen them all'.

    Brilliant.

Reading that - he's a player that likes a good atmosphere inside a ground with smoke bombs and fireworks going off.......probably flares as well !!!

Obviously Steele didn't fit into Oakwell because that sort of thing is frowned upon at Oakwell.................as most fans at Oakwell are more into their blankets for their chapped legs and a good flask of Bovril. Some even splash out and will sometimes buy a pie at half time. There are some fans that have even been known to shout out during the match.
Reading the posts on this message board over the years - it is clear to see that most of the regular posters on here fully understand that the types that make a fuss at a football match are not in control of their faculties; and should be banned.

Anything like smoke bombs at Oakwell and this message board lights up with posters expressing their utmost disgust at such inappropriate actions at of all things a football ground.
I ask you - why create an atmosphere when you can sit quietly and sip Bovril !!!

The last round of matches in Greece, before the international break, were all postponed because of fans losing their lives attending a game.
