    That's a very good article. Fortunately most fans rated Steele very highly and realised just what a good keeper we were losing. It's good to see him doing so well over there.

    When i saw the first half of the post before reading the article i was worried that "Nice to see how much Barnsley means to him" was sarcasm, but i'm very happy that it's not!

    Wasn't that only insisted upon by Steele after he had been forced to take a significant drop in wages by a manager who tried to belittle and undermine him at every opportunity?

    Excellent keeper, one of the best we've had, but some gave him abuse because his kicking wasn't always top notch.

    Had a pint with him after that friendly at Halifax. Properly nice bloke and you can tell he loves Barnsley.

    Club legend in my opinion.
