If Kevin Blackwell goes to them

After refusing to come to us (actually rejecting an offer by all accounts) because we were relegation threatened, then he's going to make himself look at right pillock.

Not that I wanted the scum ******* mind you.

Anyway, Simon was always first choice.

You should know that by now.

RE: Anyway, Simon was always first choice.

Blackwell got a 4 year contract at Luton - he would have got 2 n half year max at Oakwell and - if I was guessing - at best 2/3rds the salary he will get at Luton. Not sure if he got offered the Oakwell job but if he decliend it because we were relegation threatened how come he accepted thw Luton job?

Seems to me that players (eg Leon Constantine) and Managers alike will tend to bluff their way through why they didn't join a club to preserve thair own reputation and that of the relevant club involved - rather than incriminate each othwr with the real reason and maybe start an unwanted war or words..............................however, the likes of Blackwell, Worthington etc etc who were linked with our job hardly got my imagination stirring anyway so Luton are welcome to him.
