    After having watched the Lionesses these last few weeks, this game tonight is like watching paint dry.
    On this showing.....two very poor teams, offering nothing. Nothing.
    Living in hope that we'll turn in a better performance in our first match tmrw because what's on show tonight is tripe.

    There's always going to be a period of bedding in in a new season. A totally different mindset to knockout football.

    I agree that there's a lack of quality on show here, but it's the first game of 46 of these teams, it doesn't potentially end for the loser at the end of 90 minutes.

    I’m not watching but I’m not surprised.
    Way too much negativity on here about our chances this season.
    With the right attitude and good guidance we can win this ******* league.

    Just had a mate txt me to say he's feeling "giddy", looking fwd to the season.
    Me too - we can check back in 9 months and hopefully look back on an entertaining season. I've got high hopes with Conor in charge. Think we'll see a different approach and more positivity. With a guy who's obsessed with hard work and discipline and high standards there should be lots to Look fwd to.
    It would be v refreshing to see attitudes on here change as the season progresses.

    Looks very poor from both sides. Luton content to just lob the ball into the box….to nobody. Must think Carlton Morris is still there. Sickening seeing Mads in their defence. Unbelievable we got millions for him. Looks very ordinary after so long injured or out of favour.

    Early days I know but nothing much of interest on show there.
