New documentary on Iplayer "Making Macclesfield FC", worth a watch. Robbie Savage is not particularly my cup of tea but you can't question his enthusiasm. He oversteps the mark with their manager a few times and should leave him to do the team talks etc. Good documentary on the whole showing the inner workings of a lower league club in a similar vein to the Salford ones. Also shows how much a club means to its community, something the board members of our club could do with watching too.
They got some great characters for it and it made me fall in love with football again for an hour, listening to that family who had lost their mum/wife and the self appointed groundsman in particular. Great stuff.
