Macintosh, Windows or Linux?

    Who uses Linux? I once tried to get it going but failed miserably.

    yes i know how it is.. but now i think it is easier to install than it was some years ago. if not Linux is in trouble.

    Lot easier nowadays.</p>

    I Still find Windows too familiar to give it up. But if you fancy trying linux out, get a live CD.</p>

    I use this one now and again when the urge to switch takes me - usually when XP inexplicably stops booting.</p>

    Just download this (! - it's 700MB) and burn to a CD with nero.</p>

    Put the CD in the drive and restart the machine. Go into BIOS setup on restart and set CD-ROM as your first boot device. Hey presto - instant linux.</p>
