I'm sure thay'd be delighted to come and play fot' Tarn. Already idolised by the fans, reletively well proven at this level etc etc... Then we'll tell them what to expect in thier pay packet each week and all on a sudden, the interest wanes somewhat. Glavin and Hignett were two different 'types' of signings, one was an unknown that came good and the other was a proven top flight player near the end of his career that still wanted to give it his all. I suggest that this is the best strategy for us - we're not ever never going to be able to afford top whack wages, even when we were in the Premiership we paid no where near top dollar. You cut your cloth........ yadda yadda...
