Then we'll tell them what to expect in thier pay packet each week and all on a sudden, the interest wanes somewhat. Glavin and Hignett were two different 'types' of signings, one was an unknown that came good and the other was a proven top flight player near the end of his career that still wanted to give it his all. I suggest that this is the best strategy for us - we're not ever never going to be able to afford top whack wages, even when we were in the Premiership we paid no where near top dollar.
