Macken - De Silva - why would they want to come back to a club thats playing so badly?

    Two reasons

    a) Playing first team football's better than playing in the reserves, even if it is for a bigger club.

    b) The side will be better once they're in it.

    I suspect both will do better for themsleves than coming to Barnsley.</p>

    Not sure at all people will be queueing to sign Macken

    Da Silva is good enough to play in a top championship/lower Prem team but if he isnt in the shop window no one will be coming in for him - he is much better off looking good for us than on the Everton reserves subs bench.
    I think getting them both back either as signings or on loan for the rest of the season is definitely possible
