Macken - Time to retire

Still got a good first touch and still has the nouse upstairs to play championship football but has the legs of Darren Moores dad!! Not quick enough and hasn't got the work rate needed to be a championship striker.</p>

Also negative football cost us all 3 points today they were there for the taking and for 20 mins in the second half we played 4-5-1 FFS.</p>

Did you go Tuesday?? Bit harsh that i think. Disappointing finishing today but hes definalty not gone completley! His work rate his the biggest part of his play for us.

 

yes i went tuesday, i think he is a yard short of making a difference in this league. Another striker with pace and the ability to finish would make us look a completely different side

Well i didnt hear anybody on Tuesday saying he was past it when he run his blood to water. Decent championship striker in my opinion but agree that he wont get enough goals. But goalscorers are hard to get and cost alot of money!

 

2 mill?? Im sure theres people out there who could do a job for us, im sorry but if we are going to have to put up with Odejaye and Macken this year then we are going down.

What was wrong with today's performance?

Thought we played really well and the players worked hard - they are supposdley one of the better teams in the league- we just needed someone to finish!</p>

 

Think we have a case on one of those people that MUST find an excuse to have a go at the team or just 1 individual

It can't be KO as he don't start anymore so has to find someone else to have a go at

 

he still manages to have a pop at KO saying if we start with him and macken we are going down. Is it just me or is KO now 4th choice striker when all fit??? Leave the lad alone for a bit. Some 'fans' beggar belief!!

I agree Macken didn't look good and should have finished his chance but as I said i thought we played really well. As for ther team not wanting to play for Davey - mmm - don't think I've seenus work as hard for ages. We didn't give them asecond to settle on the ball! Let's keep it up!
