    Personally...

    I'm a BIG fan of the older Civic Type R's, around 2001/2002 models. Would love one, but due to my age insurance is about 10 grand fully comp, so **** that.

    went on the back of my mates R1

    doing 140+ - feckin papped mi pants. AND feckin stupidly only had jeans and jumper/coat on. Imagine! My hands almost came apart. I was headbutting him in the back with the helmet. Talk about mental.

    Hehe

    Can't say R1's are very comfy on the back, to be fair.

    Should try Ady's bike, or a VFR800, much comfier and feel safer too.

    bikes = danger

    mate passed his test and got one. R6 1st bike. Some bloke pulled out on him 2 weeks later. Brand spank r6 written off, broken collar bone and 2 weeks on sick.

    I must say zipping up the M1 inbetween the traffic to Leeds on a morning looks ideal but i just know id end up in hozzy! lol

    LOL

    They're only as dangerous as you make them.

    Plenty of people have pulled out infront of me, but I've always seen them and prevented anything happening. My main trick is to make eye contact with the other road users, then it registers in their (tiny) brains that I'm on the road.

    I would offer

    But, I don't take too many pillions, so I doubt you'd enjoy it as much! Still a bit rusty.

    RE: 140

    that was on the A1. 1st time on a bike. You can see why it was a bit scary. Espess when mi hands started coming apart.

    best bit is...

    When you have a pillion who insists on sitting upright on the back, then complain because they could feel themselves slipping off the back, whilst I'm trying to tuck under the screen to go faster.

    mi dad once had a mate on the back of a moped on his way home one night - when he got there his mate wasnt there anymore. Turned out hed clipped a car with his knee and took him straight off the back.
