During lockdown the lad has come on leaps and bounds, but there is one aspect of his game that requires addressing. He makes too many rash tackles 25/30 yards out on opponents with their back to goal and not posing a threat. The resulting free kicks have cost us goals. It's probably down to his enthusiasm and I'm sure VI will sort him out.

 

I was thinking the same last night. He did it a couple of times and it got me a bit frustrated.

 

Been vital in defence. No player will be error free .

 

One good thing he does now is clear his lines.

 

He's letting there striker know he's there that's all

 

Learnt to the hard way, but yes much improved

 

Agreed he does it 2/3 times per game. I don’t mind if it stops a break but a lot of them are unnecessary. Still been mint this season like but always room for improvement.

 

Helik does it too though. Only difference between the two players is Helik looks more savvy and wants to see what he can get away with.

 

He was only doing as he was told. All that passing two yards from a goal kick was absolute ******** and was the reason our defence looked so bad.

 

I agree, but he still needs to work hard at improving his game by cutting out those errors. That's the whole ethos of a young professional footballer.
