Verminous ba stards

Took everything in the garden last year. This year they've fewked off for some reason and I've got Blackbirds hatching, Robins, Finches, Sparrers, Wrens, a couple of Pipits...other unidentified flying objects, including what looks like a Yellow Hammer - oh and lots of Tits, including blue uns and big uns. Never had such a show.

Long may the black and white tw ats keep away.

Only problem now is a plethora of Collared Doves.

Noisy bleeders! Can anybody lend us a friggin hawk?

Same here, it's the collared doves mate.

They keep the maggies away, don't know why the maggies are so scared of them but they are. The doves leave all the others alone though, perfect.

I've been thinking of setting up some kind of dove cot to encourage them. Don't you like the sounds they make? I've found that blackies are the noisiest, especially when they're scolding a cat or something at sunrise, but their singing in the evenings makes up for it.

We've picked a dove chick up off the floor about 3 times in the last 3 days and put it back in the tree.

Parents are useless, they keep lerrin it fall back out.

One day the local cat will get there before I do.
