Bottom Gate was “locked” with some tabard wearing jobsworth baring the way after the game forcing every fan through that tiny door opening in the corner. Some legend clocked it wasn’t actually locked and just sold the jobsworth a dummy and pushed it open thus saving us all an extra 10 minutes and getting crushed. Talk about brainless rules.
I thought it was completely idiotic that, in the name of health and safety, they had a bloody big gate shut and funnelled hundreds of people through an opening smaller than a standard sized door. Truly moronic.
A message to Barnsley football club if you think the new rule on the car park is good then the brainless person who ever thought of the idea wants to give his or her head a shake because the car park today was absolutely and totally wrong it’s wrong on the people who pay there hard earned money to the club and please don’t say it’s health & safety reasons
Same at the gate at the top just between ponty and west stand 2 small openings with people from ponty and east trying to squeeze through to get towards tarn and us from the west trying to get through to the car park. Just stupid when there are big gates that could be opened Also took 46 minutes to get out of the car park after the final Whistle. Dad now conceded that I was right and next game I’ll drop him at the bottom of the car park and go back and park in the RDA and do the same in reverse after the match
I paid £85 for South stand car park, I don't mind listening to radio after the match especially if weather is terrible but today I had to drop kids and father in law off and then drive about around cones, blocked off streets, loads of pedestrians and other drivers struggling the same to try to dodgily Park up because some idiot came up with locking the gates to the car park that I had paid £85 to park in at 2.30 to 3. Trying to get out after the game on to Grove Street to walk up to find my car which should have been in the car park I paid for the same idiot had locked all the gates again except 2 tiny pedestrian gates where people were bottled necked trying to get through from both sides Inc both sets of supporters I can deal with most things and take stuff in my stride but this idiotic incompetent management ruined what should have been a wonderful day. Fxcking stupid.
