Brian Mahoney's Waist posted yesterday that McPhail trained as normal.
Whether Ritchie decides to risk him against that set of cheating, manipulative cloggers is another matter.

Agree. They'll target him no doubt and attempt to wind up Ozzie and Kay (If Kay plays)
Discipline is so important and it's good to see that the players and Manager are playing it down. Deep down inside though, they'll be up for it big style.

i was just looking to see i agree with you id go with howard for this one. Colgan Hassell carbon reid hecki disco shuks (if fit) burns howard hayes richards
RE: Nar then ar Tina
You mean it's noticeable lol!
Where Doncaster Rovers are concerned I harbour a totally irrational hatred and dislike...
As for Ryan and Penney - don't get me going on them.

RE: i was just looking to see Think I would prefer Austin to hecky - but only if he can keep his discipline. If there's any doubt then Hecky should start.
RE: i was just looking to see Think Hecky has the bit of extra quality on the ball that might be more effective against Donny Tina, and isn't Austin ill? Don't think we can even consider dropping Anthony Kay after Saturday, man of the match by a country mile
RE: i was just looking to see he probably was (though i think hassell) but id be worried he will get himself wound up again. and the donny players might try to wind him up. carbon was brilliant at forest so pop him back in. bit more experience
RE: i was just looking to see Aye Carbon is brilliant. He'll deal with those high balls all match long.
When fit he's superb.

This game could be the making of Kay Ritchie has been saying how they've tried to cut out all the things he was doing wrong, and concentrate and his qualities, well surely under that category comes tempremant? Just how many high balls did Kay deal with on Saturday against Bristol? Loads. Ritchie can't say that bringing a midfielder to the club would be unfair on the lads that played so well against Forest to then go and drop Kay for Carbon after a man of the match performance
RE: This game could be the making of Kay I think I would still prefer Carbon, having said that Ritchie may well start Kay after his last performance
I am not Kay's biggest fan.
He makes too many silly errors and has a dodgy temperament. Having said that his last performance was superb.
It will take a few more games from him to totally convince me though.

RE: This game could be the making of Kay he can he is the manager and tought decsions is what its all about. if he thinks kay can contol himself then okay. he will no better than me, im just worried the donny lads might try and wind him up. Or if we should fall behind he will beg frustrated. Also id want to play carbon as he is out best defender when fit. But if kay plays and has a stormer as you say could sort him out finally, a last minute winner would be nice for the lad
RE: This game could be the making of Kay Yeah but after Ritchie said he chose not to sign a midfielder coz of our performance against Forest, he won't be able to justify dropping a defender after been man of the match will he? Would be a contradiction surely? I think Kay will play, and I think Ritchie will have laid it on the line to him about keeping a cool head. Stats don't lie (ask Paul) and with Reid and Kay at centre half we've kept the most clean sheets.
Tina is usually A very mild mannered , sensitive , classy lady . But say the words "Rovers" , "Ryan" or "Penney" and a remarkable change comes over her ! ff
RE: This game could be the making of Kay Hope he goes on to prove himself.
He can really increase his stature at the Club with a fine disciplined performance tomorrow.
there'll be a lot of people watching him.
Check yer inbox
