    It's due to open soon I think, they've just had 28 taps installed - gonna be by far and away the best craft ale place in town

    Probably shouldn’t bug me but it does: technically, it should be Maison or Maisonette de la Biere not du Biere.

    Everybody knows Biere is feminine in French :)

    It is grammatically incorrect.
    It definitely should be "de la biere".
    How could someone have got it so wrong?

    Great news, will definitely try to head there before games when it opens. Arcade alehouse used to be the pub of choice, but that has gone massively downhill since jolly boys took over. Any other new places opened recently which are worth trying? Not been in to Barnsley centre since pre covid.

    George and Dragon on summer lane has been refurbished and looks good from pics I've seen. New pub on agnes road called heaven and ale also looks really good. Not exactly centre of town but worth a jaunt out from what I've seen
