    I say don’t rise to it and give them the satisfaction of wider coverage. Let’s face it, the calibre of people that believe anything The Sun says are irrelevant to say the least.

    I love the replies. There's photos redressing the balance and no-one is taken in enough to make any piss taking comments. The link to the news story no longer works either, so they've obviously back-tracked.

    Why would anyone buy the Sun or the Mirror (is it still going?) or any of their equivalents? They're comics aimed at the semi literate. I'd be just as embarrassed going into a newsagent and buying a mag off the top shelf!

    I know which ones consistently attack the ordinary people and their way of life and peddles pro - Tory and even right- wing propaganda, then pretends to be the friend of ordinary folk. These include, The Sun, Mail, Telegraph.

    These pics look like they were taken from the signal box. Remember years ago when the Sun took photos of a page 3 model around the old signal box which was on the other side. Think the Signal-man got disciplinary action for that.

    The newspaper it is in and the newspaper elitism that has followed is mostly irrelevant.

    The story Has risen from a tweet by a Wendy fan which has gone viral and was lifted into a rag by the first journalist who saw it.

    In this case it was a Sun reporter, next time it could be one of the guardians books...
