let me give you a review of the maltese players at barnsley. bogdanovich is a very good player and can score goals and make goals but he never stays long at his clubs cos he has adiffcult character and dont get along well with players and staff. i know players who played with him and they all say the same thing. he wasnt picked up for the national team cos of problems with the coaching staff and he was ignored and didn t get selected for years. and malta being 1 of the worst teams is not the type to have a good player and dont select him. so that is the biggest problem with bogdonovich but if someone put him in his place he will be great. 2 years ago he was on fire and terrorised defenders and scored some 35+ goals in a season and was a joy to watch and he won the championship on his own and still didnt get selected to play with malta. he is not injury prone and quite strong as well so the injury he has wont be a problem. i like him and his style of playing and im sure he will score goals and will be very effective for barnsley. micheal mifsud is as every one knows is quick as **** and once he is off it will be very hard to stop him. i saw him play against some brilliant opponents like portugal,france, germany,sweden,croatia and many more top national teams and had some brilliant brilliant games. he was always singled out and always had 2 men marking him. he destroyed turkey last year and turkey are not a bad team at all. {malta drew2-2 in that game} their stopper is still dizzy!! he is not afraid to try his luck but i think he do some times rush and he can score more goals if he calms down. he is also a hard worker for the team and he is a very nice lad and humble. he is a true profesional and i think you will all fall in love with him. i think he is ambitions and do want to play at a higher level and i wont be suprised if he wont be here next season. he can improve his finishing and bogdonovich is a better finisher than him. but his main asset will be the speed and he is very ecxiting to watch. sorry i wrote a lot but i tought i share this with you. i been following them since they started playing so i know nearly anything 1 needs to know. hope i didnt bore you with all this.
Bogdanovich started already first game He was 'bending Daveys ear' asking for some wingers where wingers should be (as JCR) just hope he does'nt go the way of Christanson and Johnson

if,as reported,Bogdanovich has a personality disorder I just hope Davey had the insight to recognise this and prepare himself for possible trouble ahead. Equally,Davey should not get the titty lip on when the Bogdanovich enters a period of obnoxiusness due to his personality. If our great leader does not possess this quality to handle such a situation then he shouldn't be a leader at all. It sounds very much like a Macindoe situation. God help the player.
